We return once more to the summer of 2014. We have met our strange confidant. He has introduced us to a management company. They are the real deal. We have an intro meeting at The Depot next to First Avenue. The garage doors are up, and it’s hot. Leaving her meeting with the same pair of managers, is a local rapper of some acclaim, Lizzo, we recognize her from GRRRL PRTY. We feel slightly insecure being the second meeting of the day.
