Writing about these songs has brought the unforeseen pleasure of revisiting the music videos. Our confusing, endearing, please-burn-them-from-the-earth music videos. They have always been a point of contention within the band. Not with each other. Just with the videos themselves. We used to have big ideas for them. Involved sets, narratives, and visual motifs, as it were. But when we found out how much our favorite music videos cost to make, we quickly backed down and deferred to whoever was footing the bill.

I was remiss not to discuss our first-ever music video in the Little Grace post, but I’ll talk about it some now.
